Procedure in Taking Control of Goods Warrant

Once a commercial leaseholder is in rent arrears, the Form Taking Control of Goods Warrant can be completed. We act immediately to send the Notice of Enforcement to the tenant, who may pay the arrears at this stage.

Once the period of notice has expired and no monies have been recieved, we send one of our bailiff team to attend the property to discuss the arrears and take payment or take control of goods (which does not necessarily mean removing the goods).
